Deportivo Alaves secured a 2-1 victory over visiting Sevilla on Friday evening, kicking off the sixth round of matches in the Spanish La Liga. Carlos Vicente and Carlos Martin scored for Alaves in the 17th and 60th minutes, respectively, before Sevilla managed to pull one back in the 83rd minute through Youssef En Nesyri. Alaves climbed to fifth place in the standings with ten points, while Sevilla remained in 14th place with five points. Four more matches are scheduled for today, Saturday, as part of the same round.
