Doha, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, met with Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, Minister of Labour of Qatar, on the sidelines of the 10th GCC Labour Ministers' Committee meeting, held in Qatar on September 2-4. The two sides discussed means to benefit from successful expertise and initiatives in private sector employment. They also reviewed the latest developments in the labour sector. Minister Humaidan emphasised the importance of ministerial meetings in exchanging best practices to further develop the labour market systems in the Gulf region through various initiatives aimed at enhancing job localisation in the private sector.
