Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, on Tuesday, held a series of meetings to discuss the current situation in the country as well as the governments efforts to address the humanitarian repercussions of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. In this context, Mikati met with French presidential envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian who commented, "France stands by Lebanon in all circumstances," adding that he will carry out efforts to bridge the gaps among Lebanese factions to reach an agreement leading to electing a new president. Moreover, the Lebanese Caretaker PM met with United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon Imran Riza with regards to the UN's humanitarian assistance provided at this critical time. Mikati also met with several officials in his government to address the situation in Lebanon amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the country. Source: Qatar News Agency
