Tripoli, Libya and the Czech Republic on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for political consultation between the two countries. The agreement stipulates that consultative political sessions will be held alternately in the two countries, in order to advance and develop bilateral relations and coordinate positions on regional and international issues of common concern. According to the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, official consultations have begun between the two sides regarding the return of the Czech embassy to work from Tripoli, in continuation of the discussions that began between the two countries last year, as part of the efforts made to return foreign embassies to work from within the Libyan capital.
