Gaza - Ma'an Special - The return of displaced people to their homes in the neighborhoods of Shujaiya, Al-Tuffah, Al-Daraj and Old Gaza continues after the withdrawal of the occupation army from Shujaiya following a two-week operation. The withdrawal of the occupation army revealed massive destruction in the Shujaiya neighborhood, affecting hundreds of homes, and field executions, as happened with the boy with special needs, Muhammad Bahar, who was shot by the occupation soldiers and held in a closed room until he was martyred. In a related context, work began to re-operate the Arab Ahli Hospital "Baptist" and the General Service Hospital starting today, Thursday, July 11, 2024, after the Israeli occupation took them out of service, as part of the occupation's plan to destroy the health sector and take hospitals and medical centers out of service. The Government Media Office praised the great and exceptional efforts of the medical teams who work around the clock and have not stopped since the beginning of the war of genocide to serve our great Palestinian people. All respect to the medical, governmental, civil, charitable and volunteer teams for their continuous efforts. In a related context, the occupation tanks continue to invade the southwestern neighborhoods of Gaza City and shoot at anyone who moves, while continuing their attempts to force people to flee towards the center and south of the Strip. The occupation army began shelling more high-rise buildings in Gaza City. It fired dozens of shells at the Mashtaha Tower near the Ansar Security Complex, which is one of Gaza City's landmarks, causing widespread destruction. The shelling also targeted buildings in the Unknown Soldier in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, where about 30 bodies of citizens killed during the tank invasion were spread out. Source: Maan News Agency
