The 2024 Qatar Prix Du Jockey Club kicked off at Chantilly Racecourse in France on Sunday. The Group 1 race for three-year-olds is sponsored by the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) and saw the participation of 14 colts to contest for the title of the race also known as the French Derby. A superb colt, the three-year-old LOOK DE VEGA (Lope De Vega) lands a first Gr.1 success by winning the Gr.1 Qatar Prix Du Jockey Club. Owned by Haras De La Morsangliere, C and Y Lerner, Ecurie Des Charmes and Patrick Madar, the colt offered a first Gr.1 winner of the year to his trainers Carlos and Yann Lerner and was ridden by Ronan Thomas. President of the Asian Equestrian Federation and Vice Chairman of QREC Hamad bin Abdulrahman Al Attiya crowned the winners of the QREC-sponsored Gr1 Qatar Prix du Jockey Club.
