Damascus, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Fayssal Mikdad, met Tuesday Mr. Radek Rubeš, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Czech. During the meeting that took place at the ministry headquarter in Damascus, Mikdad discussed with his Czech counterpart bilateral relations binding the two countries, noting the role of these ties in conveying the true image of the situation in Syria to other countries, along with meeting the aspirations of the two States and peoples. Syrian government highly appreciates the assistance and development projects Czech provides as they contribute to alleviating the impact of the terrorist war on Syria, Mikdad stressed. Minister Rubeš attached great importance to bilateral consultations to determine the reality of the situation in Syria and the political developments in the region, which will contribute to strengthening joint cooperation.
