Ramallah - Together - the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Amjad Barham, in his office, today, separately, with two delegations from Palestine Technical University 'Kadoorie', headed by the University President, A. Dr.. Hussein Shank, and An-Najah National University, headed by Prof. Dr.. Abdel Nasser Zaid. Barham discussed with the two delegations a number of developmental issues and topics related to the advancement of the two universities and the continuation of their mission to the fullest, stressing the keenness that the Ministry attaches to supporting qualitative academic and technical programs that are compatible with the needs of the local and international labor market, and contribute to creating sustainable development. Barham stressed that the Ministry will spare no effort to enable Palestinian higher education institutions to continue their lofty mission of graduating educated generations with competencies. Which is the pillar of the Palestinian state. For their part, Shank and Zaid congratulated Minister Barham on assuming the duties of education and higher education, and informed him of the plans, programs and development directions of the two universities.
