Manama, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Interior Minister General received today Dr. Ali Hassan Al Ahmadi, the Ambassador of Yemen to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Deputy Interior Minister and His Excellency Ministry of Interior Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence attended. The Interior Minister welcomed the ambassador, hailing the historic relations and ties between the two countries and highlighting the importance of continuing to enhance cooperation and coordination, particularly in security-related fields. The meeting discussed the situation of the five Bahraini citizens detained in Yemen, who were held for security reasons, and the results of efforts made within the framework of communication and coordination with Yemeni official authorities.
