HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met on Thursday in Stockholm with HE State Secretary for International Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Sweden Diana Janse. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries, especially in the development field. They also discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Ukraine. HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's welcome of the recognition of the State of Palestine by the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Ireland, and the Kingdom of Spain, considering it an important step to support the two-state solution and achieve peace and stability in the region. Her Excellency noted that the Kingdom of Sweden was the first to recognize the State of Palestine since 2014.
