Mersin: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met Wednesday in Mersin with HE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye Yasin Ekrem Serim. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them. They also discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing the importance of reaching an immediate and permanent ceasefire agreement to end the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Strip. The meeting also touched upon the humanitarian situation in Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Syria, and explored ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of humanitarian assistance.
