Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education honored the winners of the fifth edition of a competition for tafsir for students, organized by Ahmed Mansour Primary School for Boys in collaboration with Al Bayan Primary School for Girls. The aim was to instill educational and religious values in the minds of students. This year, 208 government and private schools participated in the competition, including 97 boys schools and 111 girls schools. The top five winners, totaling 21 students, were honored, along with 6 outstanding students for their performance. Additionally, the competition recognized 53 participants, judges, and educational supervisors in the field of Islamic education. The competition aims to promote and deepen students' understanding of Quranic verses prescribed in the Islamic education curriculum for fifth and sixth graders in government and private schools.
