The Ministry of Labour (MOL) has announced the launch of a fast-track electronic service for new labor requests to allow companies to quickly obtain, within a few minutes, the approval of visas to bring in workers from abroad within the specified criteria and requirements. This aims to support business establishment and expand the activities of new and existing companies in the State of Qatar.
MOL explained, in a statement yesterday, that only companies following the provisions of the Labour Law could benefit from the fast-track service for new labor requests.
This new service comes as part of MOL efforts to develop procedures for the recruitment of workers for the private sector, as well as its policy to develop smart electronic services, improve the system of digital services in the labor sector, and contribute to facilitating and speeding up the completion of services provided to its clients.
It is noteworthy that owners and representatives of companies can also apply for the fast-track service via MOL services on Qatar e-Government Portal "Hukoomi."
MOL emphasized its endeavor to launch a comprehensive electronic system for all the services it provides during the coming period, leading to paperless services, in a manner that ensures the speed of procedures, particularly for companies following the provisions of the law.
