Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry Undersecretary met with Ahmed Mohammed Al Humaidi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality.
The meeting discussed the importance of urban development in sustainable cities and reviewed topics of common interest and reviewed Muscat Municipality's experience in afforestation, road aesthetics, public parks and initiatives to improves services offered to the local community.
The visit aimed at exchanging expertise in municipal work, and investing in development-related opportunities, Shaikh Mohammed said.
He emphasised the need for further development of environmental preservation initiatives, policies, and programmes to contribute to Bahrain's sustainable development goals (SDGs).
