Italian football club Napoli announced Thursday the signing of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku on a three-year contract from English club Chelsea. Napoli, which announced in a statement on its official website the signing of Lukaku, did not mention the value of the deal, but media reported that it is worth 30 million euros with other additions. Lukaku, 31, played for Italian clubs Roma and Inter Milan in the past two seasons on loan from the English club. Lukaku, the historical scorer for the Belgian national team with 85 goals, is expected to compensate for the expected departure of Napoli striker, Nigerian Victor Osimhen, who has not played with the team in the league so far due to his desire to leave the club. It is noteworthy that Napoli lost its first match in the Italian league against Hellas Verona by 3/0, but defeated Bologna by 3/0 in the second round. Source: Qatar News Agency
