Manama, Sameer Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), expressed his appreciation to the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their efforts and coordination with Saudi Arabia. He said that the Local Value Programme in Industry (Takamul) would allow Bahraini manufactured goods to be treated as Saudi national goods, enhancing local content preference mechanisms, supporting national industries, and attracting foreign direct investment. Nass highlighted that these decisions will promote sustainable development, increase trade, and enhance the competitiveness of the private sector in both countries. He emphasised the role of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in achieving mutual economic benefits. He also thanke d Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, for his continuous support in developing Bahrain's commercial and industrial sectors, and the Bahrain-Saudi Business Council for its efforts in strengthening economic cooperation between the two nations.
