The Executive Advisory Board of His Highness Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre (NAIRDC) held its third meeting.
The meeting briefed the attendees on the center's achievements for the first half of 2023, which included artificial intelligence (AI) projects that have been completed for more than 40 institutions and nine regional entities, and providing innovative solutions that included automatic prediction, machine learning, computer vision, robotic conversations, and process automation.
The meeting discussed future development projects and initiatives to spread the culture of innovation and investment in research and development activities, most notably the holding of an annual conference on AI in Bahrain.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), Government Hospitals, Shura Council, National Audit Office (NAO), Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), Information and e-Government Authority (iGA), Ministry of Interior, Bapco, Benefit, Zain, Alba, Tamkeen, Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, and Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB).
