Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg affirmed that Ukraine needs more assistance following the recent Russian strikes. Providing more military support is critical to Ukraine's ability to survive the full-fledged Russian war, Stoltenberg said in a statement, adding that "Ukraine continues to intercept Russian missiles on a daily basis, saving countless lives. But Ukraines ability to maintain their defenses requires increased supply and more support". Following the recent intensive Russian strikes, the NATO Secretary General called for a meeting of NATO member states' ambassadors in the Belgian capital, Brussels, to discuss the country's air defense needs. The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that its forces carried out a large-scale joint attack on vital energy infrastructure facilities that ensure the operation of the military-industrial complex in Ukraine, using high-precision, long-range air and naval weapons. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and it does not appear that it is close to laying down its weapons, in light of Moscow's emphasis on continuing its special operation until its goals are fully achieved.
