New Batch of Experts Takes Legal Oath at Ministry of Justice

Doha: A new batch of experts took the legal oath at the Ministry of Justice on Sunday as experts accredited before the judicial authorities in the country, in accordance with the regulations set forth in law No. (16) of 2017 regulating expertise work. The experts were handed registration certificates to embark on their duties after they were registered as experts on the roster with the Experts Department at the Ministry of Justice. The new batch includes 10 national experts from various specializations, including expertise in computational, financial, banking, real estate valuation, architectural, environmental, and Human Resources Management, in addition to a specialization in wooden boat valuation, which is featuring for the first time on the roster of experts registered at the Ministry of Justice, constituting a new addition to the roster of experts, and meeting the demand in this field before the courts. Moreover, the event saw the registration of the second Qatari company specializing in expertise man agement. Commenting on this occasion, Director of the Experts Department at the Ministry of Justice Abdullah Bushahab Al Marri emphasized the importance of an expert's role in assisting judges and being an essential element in the process of prompt justice, given the experts' legal responsibility of extracting evidence by considering the technical aspects of a subject matter or field, with expert reports playing a significant role in accelerating the issuance of rulings and the adjudication of cases. Al Marri added that under the directive of HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, the ministry is committed to enhancing the capabilities of national experts and providing the expertise needed to keep pace with the State of Qatar's comprehensive development. In this context, the Director of the Experts Department at the Ministry of Justice pointed out that the second Qatari company specialized in expertise management, and the first of its kind in the fiel d of real estate expertise have been registered in accordance with the directives of HE the Minister, to advance expertise work in the State of Qatar and provide the appropriate conditions for launching Qatari companies specialized in this sector, similar to the companies operating in this field regionally and globally, all with the aim of establishing an integrated system of Qatari expertise that includes qualified companies and individuals in this field, and to create specialized Qatari companies that contribute to the development of this profession and enhance the efficiency of the expertise sector. Al Marri said that the ministry is working to increase the number of experts it licenses and extend their fields of expertise, particularly to include less common fields, and it is in this context that the ministry licensed an expert in wooden boat valuation. He added that the Experts Department at the Ministry of Justice embarks on fully preparing and rehabilitating the national cadres and expertise to be ut ilized in meeting the judicial needs within its efforts aimed at activating the provisions of Law No. (16) of 2017 regulating expertise work, indicating that work is ongoing to draw the rare expertise to strengthen the efficient expertise work and provide the necessary technical expertise in multiple fields and specializations to achieve the goals of the Ministry of Justice in providing integrated support for the legal and judicial system.
