He noted Bahrain’s efforts to foster media freedom within the framework of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has gained international recognition.

The director said that the new facility adds a new milestone to Bahrain’s efforts to support the media sector, which is reflected in strengthening the role of media in highlighting the kingdom’s achievements and image regionally and globally in all fields.

He explained that the new main studio of the News Centre is equipped with the latest technologies which enables it to produce news bulletins that keep pace with rapid media and television developments.
