Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received a staff delegation from US Congress, who are on an official visit to the kingdom.
The president hailed the Bahraini-US relations and its developments on all levels.
Al Derazi briefed the delegation on the NHIR’s efforts in following up on human rights conditions, and the role it plays in spreading, promoting and protecting human rights in Bahrain.
He also affirmed NIHR’s keenness to enhance communication with everyone at the regional and international levels.
