Manama, Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), welcomed the decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa pardoning 545 inmates, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. Al Derazi said that the decree aims to enhance the principles of justice and rule of law, in line with the comprehensive development process, led by HM the King. Al Derazi emphasised that the royal pardon reflects HM the King's commitment to fostering the spirit of tolerance, unity, and social cohesion. Source: Bahrain News Agency
