The Detainees and Ex-detainees Commission and the Palestine Prisoner Society (PPS) said that the number of detentions since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7 has risen to 9,520 detainees. They said in a joint statement that this toll includes those who were detained from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held as hostages. The detentions were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Hebron, Tulkarm, and Qalqilya, and were accompanied by attacks against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of residents homes.
