The Israeli occupation forces arrested Monday five Palestinians in Nablus in the occupied West Bank. According to security sources, the occupation forces stormed the eastern and western areas of Nablus, and the old Askar camp in the east. Clashes erupted and two citizens were arrested after raiding their home in the camp, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported. The occupation forces also stormed Al Makhfia, Rafidia, and New Nablus in the city, fired stun grenades, destroyed the Martyrs' monument in Al Makhfia area, and raided a number of residential buildings and homes, before arresting three other young men in New Nablus, WAFA added. Cities, villages and camps across the occupied West Bank experience daily arrest campaigns and incursions by the Israeli occupation forces and colonists. The pace of the occupation's assaults on the Palestinians in the West Bank increased in conjunction with the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023. Source: Qatar News Agency
