The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Nur Shams Camp, east of Tulkarm in the West Bank, which left several Palestinians martyred and injured, in addition to the arrest and torture of dozens of people, and the deliberate destruction of infrastructure, homes and property. In a statement, the OIC said the Israeli crimes in Nur Shams Camp are an extension of the ongoing genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The organization renewed its call on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and oblige the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression and continuous violations throughout the occupied Palestinian territory, and to provide protection for the Palestinian people, in implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions. The Palestinian Health Ministry announced Saturday that the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Nur Shams Camp claimed the lives of 1 4 Palestinians, while several others were injured and arrested. The occupation forces continue their aggression on the camp, deploying more military vehicles in all its axes, alleys and neighborhoods as well as the Nablus Street adjacent to its entrance, amidst heavy gunfire at anyone trying to leave or approach the camp.
