New York, Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and CEO of the Economic Development Board, participated in an interactive dialogue held on the sidelines of the UN Summit of the Future at the United Nations Headquarters in New York during the 79th UN General Assembly. The dialogue, titled "Towards a Shared Digital Future: Promoting Inclusive Innovation and Collaboration to Bridge the Digital Divide," was organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Participants included from world leaders, ministers, civil society organisations, international institutions, and youth representatives. The dialogue was opened by President Alar Karis of Estonia and President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives, who emphasised the importance of intensified global efforts for inclusive digital transformation and the role of digital innovation in addressing global challenges and promoting sustainable development. In her remarks, Al Khulaif highlighted the importance of fostering collaboration and sharing expertise in digital transformation. She noted that digital innovation is a key pillar in Bahrain's efforts to accelerate progress towards achieving sustainable development goals and advancing various economic and social sectors.
