Palestine's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammad Mustafa, and the his visiting UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, today discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories as well as ways to stop the Israeli aggression and boosting relief efforts in the Gaza Strip. During the meeting, Mustafa stressed the need to advance efforts to stop the war of genocide against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, enhance emergency relief, and increase the introduction of humanitarian aid, in addition to stopping the attacks of the occupation and settlers, and settlement expansion in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. Mustafa stressed that the recent Security Council Resolution (2735), which is approved by everyone, constitutes a good starting point for stopping the war on the Gaza Strip, and contributes to the return of residents to their homes, the introduction of aid and needs throughout the Strip, ending the occupation of the Gaza Strip, and beginning the rec onstruction process, adding that it emphasizes the vision of the two-state solution. "We have not left the Gaza Strip, and we will provide everything possible to help our people in the Strip. The Palestinian Authority was established in the Gaza Strip, and all basic services provided, including education, health, water, electricity, and others, are provided by the government, and its employees receive salaries from it, and the evidence of this is how Israel discounts approximately 275 million shekels per month from clearing funds as government allocations to the Gaza Strip," he said. For his part, Lammy affirmed his country's commitment to the two-state solution, making efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire agreement, deliver aid to all residents of the Gaza Strip, and stop the illegal Israeli settlement expansion.
