One Palestinian was martyred Monday after he was shot by the Israeli occupation forces in Khirbet Janba in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron. The Palestinian Ministry of Health explained that Iyad Ayed Abdul Najjar, 46, was killed after being shot in the head by the occupation soldiers near Yatta. The occupation forces shot Najjar near the racist separation and expansion wall built on the lands of Janba, immediately killing him, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted security and local sources as saying. With the martyrdom of Najjar, the number of Palestinians martyred in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since Oct. 7, 2023 has risen to 645, including 147 children.
