A Palestinian was martyred on Friday by bullets from the Israeli occupation forces in Abwein town, northwest of Ramallah, the West Bank. Local sources said that a young man was martyred after being targeted by occupation soldiers and shot directly during confrontations that took place following the storming of the town, noting that he was transferred to the health center in the neighboring Jaljaliya town before his death was announced. Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah, using military vehicles, which led to the outbreak of confrontations during which the occupation soldiers fired poisonous tear gas canisters, but no injuries or arrests were reported. Other forces also stormed the villages of Rummana, Zabuba, Taanak, Al-Tayba, Anin, Faqoua, and Jalboun in Jenin Governorate, launched an inspection campaign, and set up mobile military checkpoints. Since October 7, the number of martyrs in the West Bank has risen to 573 martyrs, including 138 children, in addi tion to about 5,350 wounded. Source: Qatar News Agency
