Damascus, The Syrians will head on Monday morning for the polling stations to participate in People's Assembly elections. With the start of the electoral silence this morning and stopping all forms of campaigns for the candidates, the countdown begins for the completion of the elections scheduled on July 15th. Syrians will vote to choose 250 members from about 1516 candidates, through 8151 ballot boxes ready to receive citizens in all provinces. The elections will start on Monday at 7:00 am and continue until 7:00 pm. According to the General Elections' Law, the elections may be extended by the Supreme Elections' Committee for five hours at some or all of the polling stations. Source: Syrian Arab News Agency
