Manama, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) Photographer Ahmed Ebrahim AlDaisi and Al Bilad newspaper photographer Ayman Ali Yaqoob were jointly awarded the Best Press Photo Award in the eighth edition of the Prime Minister's Award for Journalism. AlDaisi expressed his pride and delight at winning this prestigious award. He said that the winning photo was taken on February 25, 2023. The image captures a significant moment of joy as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa embraced his son, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Commander of the Royal Endurance Team. This moment captured was in celebration of HH Shaikh Nasser's victory in the 160km World Endurance Championship, which took place in the UAE and featured 126 jockeys from 36 countries worldwide. The photo represents a moment of affection that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has always shown for the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
