Prague, Slovak Foreign Minister ,Juraj Blanar ,stressed that the Ukrainian regime's suspended to transit oil supplied by the Russian company Lukoil to Hungary and Slovakia represents obvious violation of the partnership agreement signed between the European Union and Ukraine. 'The European Commission must ensure adherence to agreements and implementation of laws that also apply to Ukraine, being a signatory to the Partnership Program with the Union, pointing out that he and his Hungarian counterpart called on the commission to take immediate measures in this issue.' Planar said in a post on his e-account. He pointed out that the EU sanctions have once again shown that their negative consequences affect Slovakia and the EU more than they affect Russia, noting that his country has an exception to the ban on importing Russian oil that is valid until the end of this year and that Ukraine, with this decision, hampers Slovakia's enjoyment of this exception. 'We do not accept turning Slovakia into a political too l against Hungary or any other state. We will decisively defend ourselves and use all the opportunities of the European law. We will at the same time defend interests of our sovereign national state 'he stressed. Source: Syrian Arab News Agency
