Political Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met here the Second Minister for Education and Foreign Affairs at the Office of Singaporean Prime Minister, Dr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, on the sidelines of his participation in the 20th edition of the Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD).
The undersecretary affirmed Bahrain's keenness to strengthen its cooperation and friendship relations with Singapore across various fields, in order to achieve common interests.
He also highlighted Bahrain's desire to coordinate its stances vis-à-vis international issues with Singapore, following its accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC), and the two countries' keenness to consolidate regional and global security and peace.
Dr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman welcomed the kingdom's participation in the Shangri-La Dialogue, stressing his country's keenness to enhance its cooperation relations with Bahrain in all fields.
