Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, has issued a decision to increase the combat mission reward for military personnel. In a statement, the Ministry of Defense stated that the decision provides for increasing the combat mission reward for military personnel of various ranks from SYP 10,000 per month to SYP 100,000 per month.
