The State of Qatar and the People's Republic of China Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Shura Council held Thursday a meeting with a delegation from the National People's Congress of China, currently visiting the country. The meeting, chaired by HE Eng. Ahmed bin Hitmi Al Hitmi, member of the Shura Council and head of the friendship group, focused on reviewing the existing relations between Qatar and China and exploring ways to strengthen and further develop them, particularly in parliamentary cooperation. The meeting was attended by HE Saud bin Jassim Al Buainain and HE Issa bin Ahmed Al Nasr, members of the Shura Council and the Qatar-China Parliamentary Friendship Group. Source: Qatar News Agency
