Qatar Museums Reveals Special Activities for August

Doha: Qatar Museums (QM) announced an engaging array of workshops, camps, and exhibitions designed to offer enriching indoor experiences for both children and adults throughout the month of August, as part of QM's role in enriching the cultural scene in the country. From 21 to 27 August, M7; Qatar's epicenter hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in design, fashion and tech and Liwan Design Studios and Labs will hold a Kids Summer Camp, focusing on the theme of character development and storytelling. On August 18, the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) will host storytelling sessions, various art workshops for children and adults, along with a workshop on creative work using Arabic Calligraphy. On the same day, the National Museum of Qatar (NMOQ) will organise an informative and entertaining workshop on Cybersecurity along with a few more other interesting workshops, storytelling sessions and summer camps From 17 to 24 August, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will host a series of workshops designed to nurture and inspire one's creative side, including a workshop on Mixed Media with Fabric (For ages 15 and above), in addition to another titled 'Cartooning for Critical Thinkers' by satirical cartoonist Khalid Albaih. From 4 to 31 August, 3-2-1 Olympic and Sports Museum will host a 3 2 1 Summer Olympic Festival for children and adults, along with a Storytelling Program. From 12 to 14 August, Qatar Museums' Archeology and Heritage department will organize summer camps titled Artefacts Workshop for children and adults. From 12 to 26 August, Dadu, Childrens Museum of Qatar will host a number of entertaining and informative workshops for the little ones.
