The State of Qatar participated in the 27th meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations of the Caribbean Community, which was held today in Roseau, the capital of Dominica. In his speech at the meeting, HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi said that Qatar is making significant efforts to contribute to resolving various issues on local, regional, and international levels. He highlighted that the State of Qatar plays an active role in international efforts to promote peace and resolve conflicts and that the State of Qatar supports developing countries through investments in sustainable development and infrastructure development. He explained that in 2019, Qatar allocated $100 million to assist the least developed countries, landlocked developing countries, and small island developing states in coping with the impacts of climate change.
