Doha, - The State of Qatar participated on Thursday in a ministerial briefing regarding the escalation of hostilities in the occupied Palestinian territories, which was organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean for member states through videoconferencing.
HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari represented the State of Qatar at the ministerial briefing.
The ministerial briefing discussed the current health and humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, the operational update of the WHO and its partners, and a global perspective on the crisis in the Gaza Strip, which is subject to brutal Israeli war crimes and massacres that have led to catastrophic humanitarian and health repercussions.
