Doha: Qatar Scouts and Guides Association is participating in the European scout camp (Jamscout 2024), held in the province of Soria, Spain, during the period Ju.13-21. The association participates in this event with 20 Scout leaders which is considered one of the largest camps in Spain. In a statement, Commissioner General of the Qatari Association of Scouts and Girl Guides, Jassim Muhammed Al Hardan, affirmed that the event helps forge communication among young people and translate the supportive scout objectives of effective citizenship, in addition to building young peoples capacities and endowing them with positive directions. Al Hardan highlighted that, by taking part in this camp, the association primarily intends to elevate the name of Qatar to the place of highest honor in all Arab and international occasions within the keenness to maintain its presence in all global forums. He emphasized that the event is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on Qatar and its culture, civilization and milestones t hanks to the tourism elements the country embraces through the exhibition that will be held by the Qatari delegation at the camp, advance the participants' physical and intellectual capacities, in addition to sharing expertise among the world's scout leaders and promoting their desire for escapades.
