Qatar Stars League, Ooredoo Launch ‘Welcome to Stadium’ Initiative

The Qatar Stars League (QSL) and Ooredoo on Monday launched the 'Welcome to the Stadium' initiative to motivate fans to flock to the stadium and promote the percentage of spectators during the 2023-2024 Expo Stars League's matches.

This came during a press conference held at Ooredoo's headquarters in the presence of a host of officials and representatives from both sides.

The initiative comes within the joint efforts between QSL and Ooredoo, as the work initiative includes setting plans for marketing and promotion with the objective of motivating fans to come to the stadium and improve the experience of the match day through invoking a number of contests and events, in addition to allocating a number of prizes and gifts for fans. A number of matches have been identified to activate the aforementioned initiative.

Executive Director of Sales, Marketing & Communication at QSL, Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, affirmed that the initiative includes a number of events for fans, as per marketing plan agreed with Ooredoo.

In a special remark to Qatar News Agency , Al Kuwari praised Ooredoo's steadfast efforts for the constant support and cooperation through this strategic partnership in the joint endeavor to upgrade the work system at multiple levels.

There are numerous details that will be revealed during the League's matches starting with the match between Al Rayyan and Al Arabi Doha on Sept. 23 within the fourth round of Expo Stars League.

On his part, Director PR, Sponsorship and CSR at Ooredoo, Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, said he is proud of this participation in the 'Welcome to the Stadium' initiative with QSL, adding that it is considered as a continuation of the joint cooperation and consolidation of strong partnership that began years ago.

It is also an affirmation from Ooredoo side to the importance of supporting sports and athletes as well as motivating fans to attend league matches through a number of distinguished initiatives which Ooredoo seeks to strengthen the league matches.
