Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped by 0.22% at the beginning of Thursday's trading, losing 22.38 points, bringing it down to the level of 10,298 points compared to the close of Wednesday's session. Figures released by the stock exchange showed an increase in the performance of some sectors, including Telecoms by 0.56%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.19%, Real Estate by 0.13% and Insurance by 0.01%. On the other hand, the Transportation sector dropped by 0.24%, the Banking and Financial Services by 0.29% and Industrials by 0.31%. At around 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,542 transactions worth QR 42.645 million, distributed over 20.578 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
