Doha, July 31 (QNA) - Three Qatari drivers of the Qatar Motorsports Academy team, namely Bader Al Sulaity, Taha Hassiba and Tamim Hassiba have participated in the Formula 4 tests held at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit in Spain. President of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and Lusail International Circuit (LIC) Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai underscored the commitment of QMMF and LIC to patronizing the local talents, in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030, and promoting Qatar's presence in motorsports. The young Qatari drivers have been chosen based on their expertise and the adherence they exhibited during their careers since joining the Qatar Motorsports Academy team in early 2022. The Qatari drivers have been acclimatized to FIA Formula 4 cars on which they were competing previously and ultimately acquired incredible talents in a new circuit, by focusing on cornering techniques and speed changes, as well as adherence to the racing lines. Following two days of testing, a ll the drivers showed progress, with lap times for each of them being close and comparable to the best F4 class lap times recorded on the track.
