Qatar beach handball team will play two friendlies against their Italian and Norwegian counterparts on Monday, as part of their external camp in Spain to prepare for the Beach Handball World Championships, which will take place on the Chinese island of Pingtan from June 18 to 23. The Qatari team, which their camp will continue until June 10, will also participate in a friendly tournament alongside the Spanish and Portuguese teams. The draw for the World Championship placed Qatar in the Group D alongside Germany, Uruguay, and the United States of America. The Group A includes Australia, Oman, Denmark, and Hungary, and the Group B has Tunisia, Spain, China, and Brazil, while the Group C is made up of Puerto Rico, Portugal, Argentina, and Croatia.
