Doha: The Qatari beach volleyball team is participating in the 29th Arab Men's Championship, which will be hosted by the city of Hammamet, Tunisia, which will start on Thursday and continue until Sep. 10. The Qatari team's delegation left Wednesday for Tunisia to participate in the championship in which it is participating with two teams, the first of which includes the duo Sherif Youness and Ahmed Tijan, while the second includes Tarek Abdel Hafez and Nour Othman. The Qatari team's participation in this championship comes after its participation in the beach volleyball competition at the Olympic Games /Paris 2024 , in which it came in fourth place after presenting strong matches against the best ranked teams in the world. The 29th Arab Championship witnesses the participation of 16 teams from nine countries in the men's competitions, as the teams of (Qatar, Tunisia, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Libya, and Saudi Arabia) participate with two teams, in addition to Jordan and Morocco with one team each.
