Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed at 9,691.480 points on Wednesday, 102.550 points (1.05 percent) down from its previous closing. A trading volume of 145,002,491 shares was traded in 18,956 transactions in all sectors, with a total trading value of QR 493,170,029.697. The prices of 11 companies went up and those of 36 declined, while five companies maintained their previous closing price.
