QSE Index Declines by 24.49 Points at Beginning of Thursday’s Trading

The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange declined 24.49 points, or 0.24%, at the beginning of Thursday's trading session, dropping to a level of 10,248 points compared to the end of Wednesday's session.

QSE data showed a rise in the telecommunications sector by 0.59%, the real estate sector by 0.23%, the industrial sector by 0.16%, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.07%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in the insurance sector was negative by 0.05%, the bank and financial services sector by 0.47%, and the transportation sector by 0.85%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3164 transactions worth QR 75.066 million, distributed to 36.414 million shares.
