Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 8.52 points, or 0.09%, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching the level of 9912.85 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in three sectors: Transportation by 0.37%; Industrials by 0.11%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.09%. However, the index rose in four sectors: Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28%; Telecoms by 0.20%; Real Estate by 0.15%; and Insurance by 0.04%. By 10:00 am, 29.507 million shares were traded in 2343 transactions valued QR 71.898 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
