Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 10.78 points, or 0.11%, at the beginning of trading on Wednesday, reaching 10,177 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in four sectors: Insurance by 0.41%; Industrials by 0.31%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.18%; and Real Estate by 0.05%. However, the index saw a rise in Telecoms by 0.90%; Transportation by 0.07%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.04%. By 10:00 am, 22.663 million shares were traded in 1,990 transactions valued QR 62.013 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
