Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 102.82 points, or 1.01 percent, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching 10,027 points, compared to Thursday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in all sectors: Transportation by 1.73 percent; Telecoms by 1.67 percent; Real Estate by 1.39 percent; Industrials by 1.25 percent; Consumer Goods and Services by 1.08 percent; Insurance by 0.75 percent; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.63 percent. By 10:00 am, 38.278 million shares were traded in 2,525 transactions valued QAR 94.605 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
