QSE Index Falls 0.39% at Beginning of Sunday’s Trading

Qatar Stock Exchange index declined by 0.39% at the beginning of Sunday's trading session, losing 39.85 points to fall to the level of 10,066 points, compared to the end of Thursday's session.

The index was weighed down by a decline in 5 sectors, namely: real estate by 1.87%; industrial sector by 1.04%; consumer goods and services by 0.89%; insurance by 0.22%; bank and financial services by 0.16%. On the other hand, telecommunications rose by 0.35%, and transport rose by 0.31%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2638 transactions worth QR 75.088 million, distributed to 36.544 million shares.
